Serving for 70 years, the Queen steered the nation through turbulent times and was a constant source of strength in the UK, the Commonwealth and around the world. Her Majesty was a dedicated public servant, a symbol of the nation and Commonwealth, and a link to our shared history.
As a lifelong lover of the countryside, she was loved particularly in the hearts of our farming and agricultural communities, and we thank her for long-life service.
